Installation Guide
Before You Begin
- Ensure you have administrative access to your WordPress site.
- Back up your website before proceeding with any new plugin installation.
- Make sure you have access to your CodeCanyon account to retrieve your license key.
Step-by-Step Installation Guide
- Download the plugin package named 'codecanyon-WooCommerce-Affiliate-Automatic-Amazon-WordPress-Plugin.zip' from your CodeCanyon account.
- Locate the downloaded zip file on your computer and extract its contents.
- Navigate to the extracted folder and then to this subfolder: codecanyon-WooCommerce-Affiliate-Automatic-Amazon-WordPress-Plugin\plugin_ver_11.0.1
- In this folder, you will find the plugin zip file named 'AMS_WooAmazon_Plugin_11.0.1.zip'. This is the file you need to install in WordPress.
- Log in to your WordPress admin panel.
- Navigate to Plugins > Add New.
- Click on the 'Upload Plugin' button at the top of the page.
- Click 'Choose File' and select the 'AMS_WooAmazon_Plugin_11.0.1.zip' file you located in step 4.
- Click 'Install Now' and wait for WordPress to upload and install the plugin.
- Once installation is complete, click 'Activate Plugin'.
License Activation
- Log in to your CodeCanyon account.
- Navigate to your Downloads section.
- Find the AMS WooCommerce Amazon plugin and download your license key.
- In your WordPress admin panel, go to the plugin's dashboard.
- Look for the license activation section.
- Enter your license key and activate it.
Transferring License to Another Domain
- If you want to install the plugin on a different domain, you must first deactivate the license on the current domain:
- Go to the plugin dashboard on your current WordPress installation.
- Find the license deactivation option.
- Click to deactivate the license.
- Once deactivated, you can then install the plugin on your new domain and activate the license there using the same key.
Key Points to Remember
- After activation, you may be redirected to the plugin's settings page. If not, you can find it in the WordPress admin menu.
- Configure the plugin settings according to your needs.
- If you plan to use the plugin without Amazon API, make sure to set up the proxy services available on the plugin configuration page (located at the bottom of the settings).
- Your license key can only be active on one domain at a time. Always deactivate before transferring to a new site.
Post-Installation
- Clear your browser cache (you can do this by pressing Ctrl+Shift+R).
- Test the plugin functionality to ensure everything is working as expected.
